Partnering with the Houston Children’s Charity to Provide Beds to Local Children

Our Partnership with the Houston Children’s Charity

For the past four years, we have been honored to partner with the Houston Children’s Charity, an organization committed to improving the lives of underprivileged and deserving children in the Greater Houston Area. Specifically, we have worked intimately with the Charity’s A Better Night’s Sleep program, by providing beds to Houston children in need. This is a very personal endeavor for us as a mattress manufacturer and company invested in the importance of getting a better night’s sleep. Sleep is a crucial part of a child’s well-being and growth. Sleeping without a bed, a necessity every child needs to feel comfortable and safe at night, is something we cannot accept. We have made it our passion and mission to help the HCC realize their goal of providing at least 1,200 beds a year to families in our community so that no child has to sleep on the floor.

Recent Bed Distribution

This past Saturday, March 25th, we hosted one of the charity’s bed distributions for the first time at our factory. This was a very exciting and emotional day for everyone involved. We gave away 400 beds to children who have never had the opportunity to dream big at night. Countless kids sat in the car waving and smiling to the various volunteers as we loaded their brand-new twin mattress, bed frame, sheets, and pillow for them to bring home that night. Helping provide these mattresses each month is always rewarding but witnessing the families receive them made it even clearer why no child should be left behind. This was truly a heartwarming day and we could not be more excited for the future and helping these Houston children get the chance to realize their dreams and live a better life.

Houston Children’s Charity Bed Donation Announcement


This past Saturday on Nov. 5th, we attended the Houston Children’s Charity’s 20th Annual Gala. During this event, we announced our final donation total of 500 beds! This year, we set the bar higher than ever before and our local community came through to help us achieve this goal.

Every year we partner with this amazing charity and their A Better Night’s Sleep program to help provide beds to local children in need. During our annual #OneForOneBed initiative, we pledge to donate a brand new bed for every purchase of $500 or more.

This was our third year of working with the charity, and each year we help more kids than the one before. We are moved by the outreach of support from our community and would like to thank everyone who made a purchase or got involved in other ways. We could never hope to provide so many beds for Houston’s children without your efforts.

Better Night’s Sleep for Children in Need

This was our second year to team up with Houston Children’s Charity’s Better Night’s Sleep Program to help provide beds for children in need in the Greater Houston area. During our 49 day #OneForOneBed event, we pledged to donate a bed for every purchase of $500 or more. Last year, with the assistance of our customers, we were able to donate a significant portion of the beds they distributed, helping them reach their annual goal. In fact, we were able to exceed our donation goal by over 50%! We are currently waiting on our results for this year but we hope we were able to do even better!

The #OneForOne event is very dear to our hearts and it is something we could not accomplish without the support of our local community. We want to express our appreciation and gratitude to everyone who made a purchase during this time. Additionally, we would like to thank those who helped us by simply spreading the word and encouraging others to participate. Your support helped us donate more beds to the 20,000 children in our community who do not have a place to sleep each night. Each of you helped make a difference in a local child’s life.

We are currently gearing up for the HCC’s annual gala, an important event which helps the charity raise the majority of the funds they use to continue their efforts throughout the year. We encourage everyone who is able to participate to get involved or purchase a ticket. Those who are able to attend can take part in a silent auction which includes a custom mattress we donated to help raise further funds for the cause. Additionally, we will announce the final total of beds we will donate to the HCC on our social media during the gala thanks to the help and support of our generous community. Truly, your contribution will be felt every time a special child lays down for a better night’s sleep.
